Economic analysis of indicators of the competitiveness of Saudi date exports

This study analysed the competitiveness indicators of Saudi exports dates using econometric analysis and indicators. The Republic Yemen was found to rank first in importing dates, followed by United Arab Emirates, then Turkey, Kuwait, Jordan, Somalia, Lebanon Qatar. A clear discrepancy existed average export prices between various countries, where price ranged a minimum $559.9/tonne; Syria had an upper limit $4,368.2/tonne for South Africa. Kingdom Arabia enjoyed competitive advantage exporting Africa, Pakistan, Djibouti, Turkey Syria. geographical concentration coefficient each quantity value approximately 0.40 0.37 during 1990–2018. 10% change expressed rate actual performance foreign date trade, led same direction 3.8%. recommends increasing international markets preserving enjoys capacity its agricultural exports.
